The African Esports Confederation signs its first continental strategic partner, the HP Group via its HP Education Inc. division.

The Confederation of African Esports (CASE) is pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with HP, signed in Dubai at the premises of HP Education Inc.
The official creation of CASE was celebrated during its Constitutive General Assembly held on September 25 and 26, 2023 at the KING FAHD Palace Hotel in Dakar,
in Senegal.
This historic collaboration opens a new chapter in development
of esports across Africa.

During this assembly, Mr Samba Bathily was elected president of CASE by a vote, actively supported by more than 15 African representations of Ministries of Sports plus the inclusion of its founding members during its Constitutive Assembly in Senegal: Kofi Sika Latzoo founder and Coach of XamXamlionz Esport & Sport , a pioneering esport team born in Senegal initiated by the Gamecampcities Agency, the only Esport team to have qualified twice on the African continent for competitions accredited by the Japanese and Singaporean Olympic Committee.
Mayank Dhingra, HP Global Director - Education Strategy, Serge THIAM, permanent secretary of Fesseda (Senegalese Federation of Electronic Sports and Associated Disciplines) and El Hadj Mansour SAGNA, President (Senegalese Federation of Electronic Sports and Associated Disciplines).

Senegal was chosen to host the Headquarters of the Confederation, thus highlighting
its central role in promoting the #gaming sector on the continent.
Mr Kofi Sika LATZOO as Senior Consultant in Creative Industries Strategy #Esport and #Gaming of the African ecosystem of #Dubai , was a determining instrument in the development of this partnership between HP and the African Esport Institutional continent on this educational program. A series of #HPGamingGarage certifications in partnership with edX the online training platform of the Harvard University x Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) tandem - which is already distinguished by more than 20,000 certified learners worldwide, more than 2,000 active on the African continent.

Through this agreement, CASE member countries will benefit from the educational resources of the HP Gaming Garage program , enabling the strengthening of skills in the field of esports and video game development. This pilot program will be launched in Côte d'Ivoire for its inauguration, a nation known for its modernity while remaining faithful to its cultural roots.
This partnership aims to create a robust ecosystem involving public and private stakeholders to promote sustainable development and shape the future of work in the gaming and esports industries. Côte d'Ivoire, a key economic hub in the West African region, represents an ideal strategic location for this innovative project.
